Oh hello this was just my type of weird!
Agh I can’t even put into proper words how fun and thought provoking this book was for me. Of course, I shouldn’t have expected anything different considering BoJack Horseman is one of my favorite shows of all time.
Someone Who Will Love You in All Your Damaged Glory uses a lot of the same elements that makes BoJack so uniquely weird and heartfelt. There is always some sort of surreal string running along the stories that lets you know this is technically fiction, but of course everything about the characters and their honesty and flaws makes you aware just how human it all is.
In short, I completely loved this and I’m not even one for anthologies, because of how inconsistent I often find them. However, if you’re considering picking this up please pick the audiobook! There’s an array of voice actors who are incredibly good and truly bring the stories to life.
