I’ve been reminiscing on my first Stephen King book and how much I really enjoyed it!
It’s a bit of a slow burner, but overall a creative, atmospheric, and original piece of work. I don’t think I’ve ever read any quite like it, and what’s best is I learned a lot about the different time periods this book explores. Also, slight side note, I haven’t been able to look at Lost Dog/Cat posters the same again.
Anyways, I’m sort of itching to pick up another one of his novels soon. Although, they always seem to be hit or miss with me, which is a lot to ask for when they usually run like 700 pages long.
